Chou Ecuador...siempre en mi corazon...

Things I'll miss in Ecuador:

Casa Mis Suenos team with Kenneth
Our Casa Mis Suenos team (Mela, Sabri, Debbie & we 3)
+ Luis & Maria Teresa Toledo
and Karina who opened her home to us 3!
Ecuadorian Adventures--this one in Mindo

Special friends in special places--with our first Spanish
teacher, Consuelo and Rumiloma!

Walls of Graffiti

The colorful Mercados
Time spent with girls we've come to love
at the safe home and jail.
Mela & Vini + Jorge & Sabri...
always referring to each other as "amor" & "corazon"
imparting love...impacting life
If we love the One who conceives the child,
we"ll surely love the child who was conceived.
1 John 5:1
$3 bunches of flowers!  Especially roses!
Majestic skies
"Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is,
rather than as you think it should be."
The very best of friends!
Snowcapped volcanoes
(oh, yes...we have them in Alaska too!)
Beautiful indigenous people

    Las Tres Chicas
God didn't say love would be easy; He just said it would work.
    Bob Goff
      Quito spilling down the mountainsides
      Pachamama hacienda
"Don't fear getting older...fear getting boring!"
    My Peruvian king!
(well,  people keep saying I need a man!)
You're the God of this city...You're the King of these people...
You're the Lord of this nation...You are
You're the Light in this darkness...You're the Hope to the hopeless...
You're the Peace to the restless ...You are

Greater things have yet to come...
greater things are still to be done in this city

So it's time to say goodbye to this beautiful country and is gentle, loving people.  I've been immersed in doing what's always on His heart...restoring every violation of love.  I have watched love in action in so many ways as it took what was wrong and fought to make it right again.  I'm filled with faith and hope for the people of Ecuador...people who used to beg for acceptance and are now strong enough to give love.  The commitment here has been clear--doing what I could, not what I couldn't...my heart regulating my hands.  I've become more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate and more responsible...changed forever.  My arms are wide open, outstretched and I'm standing tall in His presence fresh and celebrating!

    3. Beautiful testimony Lynda! Thank you for your faithfulness to serve, to go, to be His hands and feet, and to share the journey. " restoring every violation. Of love" I'll be thinking about those words for a while.
Thanks for being such a wonderful example to me for over 24 years!

      1. Thanks so much, Kris. You are an amazing example to me as well...just look at the fabulous young men and women you've raised who are impacting the world...you and Kurt are farmers who have produced and tenderly raised strong, healthy, life producing kids who will turn around and sow life and love as abundantly as their parents! What a picture you all are! I love you!
