Return to Quito

Tres chicas featured in a Casa Mis Suenos photo shoot
I spent the holidays with my wonderful brothers & sisters in Kalispell, MT where true winter--complete with snow and ice and cold and incredible vistas--filled up my senses.  I returned to Quito on January 13 after five weeks in the states. We 3 moved into a new place where living quarters are a bit tighter but comfortable.

Jumped right into spanish classes at Academia Latinoamericana de Espanol.  Classes are 4 hours a day, 5 days a week plus homework!  Class are intensely challenging, but I feel as though I've grown rapidly, excited because I'm chasing after fluency and planning to succeed!  It's a beautiful school with excellent teachers with around 25 students at a time, all there for different reasons and different amounts of time.  Love it!

A new friend, Kenneth James Semenec (www.kjsministries.org) spent the week with us.  He did a photo shoot of the Casa Mis Suenos team for our website; then we spent rich times together bringing the kingdom at the girls and boys prisons and youth and adult weekend services as well as our special time in Ambato with the six little mountain people who have stolen our hearts.  Carly describes it best in her blog that I encourage you to read--it's a work of art, and it's filled with more photos too!   justicelookslikelove.blogspot.com

Margarita is the oldest sibling...probably in her 50's.
